Ten countries, ten entirely different routes

Some countries ask a few hundred thousand dollars, others several million. Some decide in three months, others take years. Each page below gives the real figure and cites the official source, so you can check it yourself.

Đường chân trời New York nhìn từ mặt nướcUSUnited States immigrationThe United States remains the first destination Vietnamese families consider: the education system, the business environment, and green card rights for every member of the household. In 2026, three routes merit discussion for Vietnamese investors and workers — EB-5, EB-3 and L-1/EB-1C.EB-5 investment (TEA): $800,000View programmeTháp CN Tower, Toronto, CanadaCACanada immigrationCanada is tightening immigration policy across 2025–2027, yet the path to permanent residence remains clear and family benefits remain among the strongest anywhere. Two changes define 2026: the Start-up Visa has paused intake of new files, and Express Entry has added further priority categories.Start-up Visa: New intake paused from 01/01/2026View programmeTàu điện vàng đặc trưng của Lisbon, Bồ Đào NhaPTPortugal immigrationThe Portugal Golden Visa retains its appeal for Vietnamese families through one uncommon condition: an average presence of only seven days a year. The real estate route was removed in 10/2023. The asset used to obtain the visa simultaneously generates rental income among the highest in the world. The entire business and investment stream under subclass 188 closed on 31/07/2024, replaced from 12/2024 by the National Innovation Visa: a permanent visa reserved for exceptional talent, granted by invitation. For most Vietnamese applicants, the realistic door in 2026 is the skilled stream.Investor visa 188/BIIP: Closed from 31/07/2024View programme

Principles

Four things we will not trade away

01

Transparent costs

Before you sign, you receive the complete cost schedule: service fees, government fees, legal fees, translation fees and any contingent charges. We state plainly which amounts are refundable and which are not.

02

Strict confidentiality

Your financial file and family information are accessible only to the adviser handling your case. We do not disclose the identity of a client for promotional purposes, in any form.

03

Advice built on the actual file

We advise after reading the file, not according to what you hope to hear. If your circumstances fall short, or if a programme carries live policy risk, we say so and propose an alternative route.

04

Support after the visa

The relationship does not end with the residence card. We stay with you through the conditions you must maintain, renewals, your children's school admissions, and the financial decisions that arise once the family has settled.

The path

Five stages, none of them skipped

You always know where your case stands and what comes next.

  1. 011–2 working sessions

    Assess your eligibility

We read the file as it actually stands: assets, source of funds, personal record, your children's plans. By the end of the session you know which programmes you qualify for, and where you fall short.

  2. 021–3 weeks

    Select the programme

We set the options side by side: investment level, processing time, policy risk, and the rights each family member receives. You decide from a comparison table, not from a promise.

  3. 032–6 months, depending on the programme

    Prepare the file

This is the stage that decides the outcome. We build the source-of-funds evidence, the legal documents and the certified translations to the standard of the receiving authority, and review every point that could be questioned.

  4. 04Per the processing schedule of the adjudicating authority

    File and monitor

The application is submitted through official channels. You receive progress reports at set intervals, together with a response plan whenever the adjudicating authority requests further documents or an explanation.

  5. 05A long-term relationship

    Settlement and beyond

The visa is only half the journey. We assist with arrival, school selection for your children, introductions to tax and banking services, and we track your renewal dates and continuing conditions.

Start with you

Five questions, before we talk about any programme

Two minutes to answer. An adviser reads them before calling, so the first conversation starts where it should rather than at the beginning.

Question 1 of 6

What does your family ultimately want?

Pick the one that matters most right now.

Why VNIS Investment

The visa is the smallest part of the plan

An education group behind every file

For Vietnamese families, emigration almost always begins with a child's education. VNIS Investment works alongside VNIS Education and Clever Academy, so school selection, test preparation and the residence plan are built as one exercise.

US and Canadian files: study since 2012, residency since 2020

The firm has handled US and Canadian study files since 2012 and opened its residency and investment practice in 2020. Since then we have worked through repeated policy changes in the two most demanding markets — EB-5 revised both its investment thresholds and its queueing rules, while Canada tightened immigration for 2025–2027 and then paused the Start-up Visa. That experience shows in knowing which programmes remain in force and which files do not yet qualify, rather than in any approval rate.

Two offices in Vietnam

You meet your adviser in person in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi, sign there, and hand over original documents there. The line +84 97 586 1994 and info@vnisinvestment.com are open for matters outside office hours.

Confidentiality

Everything you provide — bank statements, title documents, corporate records, the personal data of each family member — is held in an internal system with controlled access and used solely for the file being processed. We do not release information to third parties without your written consent, except where the law requires it.

Straight answers

The questions families ask before anything else

If an answer below rules us out, we would rather you knew now than after paying a fee.

What does VNIS Investment charge?

The first conversation is free and carries no obligation. Once we understand your actual position, we issue a full cost schedule for the route you choose — service fees, government fees and third-party costs shown separately. Nothing falls outside the schedule you sign.

How long does the process take?

It depends on the programme: a UAE Golden Visa is typically 2–4 weeks once the asset is settled, while US EB-5 or a Portuguese Golden Visa can run to several years. Each destination page states an estimated timeline with its official source. We set out realistic dates at the first meeting rather than promising speed to win the file.

Does VNIS Investment guarantee approval?

No. The decision rests with the immigration authority of the country concerned, and no adviser can commit on its behalf. What we do commit to is an honest read on your chances from the outset, a file prepared to standard, and telling you plainly when you do not yet qualify — rather than taking the fee and leaving you to wait.

We have children in secondary school. Where should we start?

With your children's school calendar, not with a programme. Their age determines the most advantageous time to file and whether they still qualify as dependants. As part of VNIS Group, we work with VNIS Education to place the education path and the residency path on a single timeline.

How is my information protected?

Financial and personal records are seen only by the adviser handling your case and are held in the internal management system of VNIS Group. We do not sell or share data outside the group, and we disclose to adjudicating authorities only what the application requires.

I live overseas. Can this be handled remotely?

Yes. Most of our clients work with us over video calls and sign electronically wherever the law allows. Where attendance is unavoidable — biometrics, a consular interview, notarisation — we group those steps into a single trip and prepare every document in advance.

Beyond Future

Start with a conversation, not a quote

Free and without obligation. You will leave knowing which programmes are viable, which conditions you have yet to meet, and how long each takes.
